Pearl here! I am an approximately 8 year old chihuahua mix and I wanted to tell you all about myself because I am looking for a new forever home!

I was surrendered to the shelter by my elderly mom because she was going into a retirement home and she couldn't take me with her. I know she loved me so I haven't held a grudge and continue to be my most sweet, loving self with my new foster family.

I am being fostered with 5 dogs of all sizes and 3 cats! I prefer the little dogs as my friends and I like to play and jump around with them! I put up with the big dogs but they're a little intimidating so I prefer when they give me my space. I am very interested in my kitty friends but I've learned really quickly that they need respect and space too and that's okay with me! My foster mom says she's so proud of me for learning some new manners, whatever that means.

I've also met lots of humans at my new foster home! I've had no problems around young children but foster mom always makes sure they are careful not to scare me because I'm just little. I am quick to warm up to new people and am always down for a belly rub or cuddle in a fuzzy blanket, no matter who you are!

My perfect home would be somewhere relatively quiet where I can have lots of time for cuddling and napping. I sleep in bed with my foster parents but have no trouble sleeping in a dog bed or another room when they are gone. I am very quiet chihuahua and do little to no barking in my foster home.
