Hi, it’s me, Hazel!

You may have seen my photo floating around, because my foster mom LOVES to take photos of me. She tells me I’m the prettiest, most photogenic girl!

I am a total love bug to both humans and animals alike! Foster mom think’s I’m an extra big suck to foster Dad because I adore following him around when he’s working outside, or even sitting in his truck and having a snooze as he works away. I truly just enjoy being in close proximity to my people/person ❤

I am NOT a fan of this thing you Canadian’s call “snow,” it’s a big no for me. I will only go out if bribed with a walk (but you must remember my coat!!! or else I may freeze). I am also not a big fan of being left home alone and have gotten myself into a little trouble but foster mom says that’s just because I have a little separation anxiety because i love my people so much! I am not often destructive when left alone, but I have made a few mistakes and ate moms day planner so she would be forced to stay home. (it did NOT work…)

My right paw is slightly deformed, it's suspected that I was hit by a car and never, and I often hold it up if we go on walks, unless it’s warmer out then I don’t mind using it a bit. When I was in Georgia, where I came from, my foster mom there had it looked at and the Vet didn’t think it posed any issues, it just makes me even more special! I did live with a child back in Georgia, and foster mom here has introduced me to a few other kids and I am always a proper lady. I even let one of them put a party hat on me so we could celebrate her turning 2!!

I am very food motivated, I listen VERY well & I am great off leash as I don’t like to wander very far.

The last thing I would like you to know about me is that when I get really happy, which is apparently a lot…I wag my tail so much that I have this thing called “happy tail,” which sounds better than it is. When my tail hits any hard surface the cut on my tip re-opens and it bleeds. Foster mom helps by putting some antibiotic cream on it and that usually does the trick.

I am a love & snuggle bug who is hoping to find my fur-ever home for summer. If you think I'd make a great addition to your family, make sure to apply for me here: Adoption Information (hankshaven.ca)
