Kiki 1 year old 25-30lb from Dominican Republic Spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccines Kiki has been in Canada for almost 4 months now and we’ve seen some wonderful growth. Kiki is the sweetest little lady, in the cutest little package and she is looking for her forever family!!!! Kiki is house and crate trained, and sleeps in her crate throughout the night. (although recently she’s been boycotting her crate) During the day, she stays in her own area of the house (without furniture) and is completely content napping and playing with her toys. She is still a puppy, so she will chew on things she shouldn't but is easily redirected with a toy or bone. (Although, she does love to eat stuffies, but who doesn't?!). Kiki LOVES toys, and watching her play on her own is the cutest thing. She absolutely adores her people and will be your little shadow. A lot of this stems from her lack of confidence, so her new family needs to be willing to work on building up this little ladies confidence. Kiki is working towards enjoying walks, but is a flight risk, so a fenced yard and double leashing when outside of the yard is a must. Kiki would do well with an experienced adopter with a well balanced dog. *SLOW* introductions with another dog are a must. Once she feels comfortable around another dog, she wants to spend all of her time with them and play, play, play! Thankfully Kiki is very, very food motivated which is helping with her learning and confidence building. Kiki LOVES to learn and is truly a brilliant dog. Having someone that is willing to keep her mind and body working will be what she needs to succeed. We are currently working with an amazing trainer and her adoptive family will have access to a private lesson. Kiki's perfect family will check these boxes : ✅ Be willing to work on her confidence building ✅ Not have small children (or a busy home) ✅ Have a well balanced dog that enjoys playing ✔️ What you will get in return is a whole lotta love on short legs!!!!! This sweet girl has all the tools needed to succeed in a forever home, she just needs the family willing to put the time and effort into showing her how to use those tools.
