Hi everyone! My name is Maggie and after coming to Canada from Georgia I am ready to find my forever home. I am hound mix and approximately 3 years old and weigh about 40lbs.

I did not have the best start but ever since those nice people in Georgia gave me a chance I have shown nothing but love.

I have been great with every person and dog I have met and have done great in the car. I currently live with my foster mom, dad, and two doggie foster sisters. I am very good at wrestling and tugging with them and do not show any resource guarding. I love, love, love food and am not aggressive about it with my foster sisters, we all eat together and often share the water bowl at the same time. I can get excited at times and jump up but will sit back down, tail wagging when I’m told to. My current foster home doesn't have any cats, but my foster home in Georgia said they I only wanted to play with the outdoor ones and they think I can be easily trained to live among them.

I love going for walks and am very good on leash. I still pull sometimes when I get very excited but am easily redirected with a treat. I LOVE treats and will do anything to get one. I have been to the dog park and just love running around with the other pups. I know basic commands like sit, stay and shake a paw. I am a smart girl and pick up on things quickly. I am pretty well house trained, but may take a couple days for me to learn the routine and where I am supposed to go to use the bathroom.

I think it would be awesome to have a fenced yard to run around in but as long as I get a few walks a day I’m pooped. I love being with my foster sisters and am left out with them during the day. I am a bit mouthy but as long as I have a kong or chew toys I’m good with that. I would love to have other fur siblings around but also think I would do well as the only dog as well. I sleep in the bed with everyone but as long as I have a nice pillow to lie on I’m happy.
