We can’t believe that this gorgeous girl has not been adopted yet!  She is a lover of all people big and small, will be your shadow, and you rarely hear a peep out of her!

Roxy is a 2 year old shepherd mix from Northern Manitoba.  She is not super energetic, but loves her daily walks, zoomies in the back yard, and keeping her yard free of those pesky squirrels!  A secure fence is a must for her as she likes to try to squeeze under to go on a walkabout.  She comes back when called!

Roxy aims to please, and looks to her people for guidance.  She does know how to sit, and is trying to master shake and down.  She gets excited to see people and can forget herself and jump up on them to give kisses.  She is good with all men, women and children that she has met.

Roxy came as a very unsure pup, and has really blossomed in the weeks that she has been with her foster.  In her original post, we asked for a pet free home for her as she was having some issues with her foster brother. She had also not been cat tested at the time.

Roxy has since been cat tested, and should not go to a home with cats, or small caged animals unless they are in their own private area.  She lives with some rats and a rabbit, and has not tried to hurt them, but she does like to pace the cages and whine or bark at them!

Roxy lives with another large dog.  It has taken a lot of work with her foster mom, but she in now good with him 90% of the time.  We feel that she would do okay with another larger, male only dog.  She has been tested with female dogs and prefers to be the only princess in the house.

Roxy needs to be fed separately from other dogs and keep her separate if chewing a bone.

Roxy is not crated, but is kept in her own bedroom when left alone.  She has been left out for short times and has not been destructive.  For the most part she will just watch out the window until her people return.
