Nike here! I am a lovable guy who is approximately 1.5 years old. I love kids! I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on my vaccines. I weigh about 50lbs. My foster family says I walk like a dream on a leash . The only time I pull is when I have to do my business. I am being fostered with 3 other dogs and we all get along although people are my favourite beings. I have been working at not jumping up and it is a work in progress as I do get pretty excited. I am fully crate trained. Sometimes when left to my own devices I will chew some things so I go into the crate when my fosters go out and at night. There is a dog toy box in my foster home and I grab something out of there usually when I want a chew. I love to be brushed. When I had my nails trimmed at the vets I was a good boy and just laid there. I was previously from Georgia. In my past life they believe I was hit by a car and had some damage to my leg. Unfortunately my leg was not looked after at that time. My back left leg healed not quite straight. The crew at Hank's had my leg xrayed and an orthopedic surgeon had a good look at them. He said it was too late to straighten the leg. I still have full use of my leg. I walk daily, do zoomies and jump up. I love life and that leg doesn't affect my mobility or good nature. The vet does say that I have a bit of arthritis started in the joint so I have had some lasering sessions and am taking some meds. The vet said a once a month lasering session to maintain my leg would be beneficial. Why lasering you ask? Laser therapy helps tissue repair by causing the following: Endorphin release Vasodilation, which increases blood flow to bring in oxygen and cells involved in the healing process Muscle relaxation Decreased inflammation Faster healing and repair As you can see in the pictures I wear doggles for my lasering. I don't mind them or the treatment at all. I have been receiving my laser treatments from the wonderful staff at Animal Hospital On Bell Farm Road.

I am not sure what kind of dog I am but my foster family thinks my ears look kind of like giraffe spots! I don't know about cats as I haven't met any yet. I do like to chase birds and squirrels. If you think that you would like to adopt an almost perfect dog then please apply at: www.hankshaven.ca

If you apply please check your spam box for an email from the Hank's family.
