Meera

November 2025 - Meera

After just under three years with her loving adoptive family, Meera began experiencing lameness—a condition not uncommon in Great Danes. She was peacefully laid to rest and will be deeply missed by her furever family and cherished fur siblings.

Scarlett

December 4, 2025 — Scarlett
Despite extensive training, support, and professional evaluations, it became clear that Scarlett could not safely move forward into an adoptive home. With heavy hearts, we made the difficult decision to let her go through behavioral euthanasia. Scarlett is at peace now, and we will hold her sweet spirit in our hearts until we meet again at the rainbow bridge.

Freya

October 25, 2025 — Freya
Freya, rescued from a northern community three years ago, sadly crossed the rainbow bridge after falling suddenly and unexpectedly ill. She was first fostered by our Director, Megan, who quickly fell in love and became a proud “foster fail.” Freya was deeply loved by her family, and though their time together was far too short, her spirit will forever remain in their hearts.

Tully

November 1, 2024 – Tully

Tully was the product of poor breeding and genetics, dealt a difficult hand from the very beginning. After a long internal battle fought with quiet strength, she was laid to rest on November 1, 2024. Surrounded by love, her family made the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully. Tully will be remembered with love and tenderness always.

Alfie

July 21, 2024 – Alfie

Alfie was one of our beloved sanctuary dogs, surrendered by a backyard breeder due to his disabilities. Small in body but enormous in spirit, Alfie faced challenges he never asked for with resilience, gentleness, and quiet bravery. Though his time with us was far too short, he knew love, safety, and belonging—and that is what mattered most. He will always be missed and forever cherished.
