At Hank’s Haven, every life we touch leaves a lasting paw print on our hearts. Though these beloved souls are no longer with us, their memories continue to inspire our work and remind us why we do what we do. Forever in Our HeartsWe remember with love and gratitude all of our cherished alumni and sanctuary dogs who have crossed the rainbow bridge: Maximus (Sanctuary) Run free, sweet friends. November 1, 2024 – Tully Tully was the product of poor breeding and genetics, dealt a difficult hand from the very beginning. After a long internal battle fought with quiet strength, she was laid to rest on November 1, 2024. Surrounded by love, her family made the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully. Tully will be remembered with love and tenderness always.
July 21, 2024 – Alfie Alfie was one of our beloved sanctuary dogs, surrendered by a backyard breeder due to his disabilities. Small in body but enormous in spirit, Alfie faced challenges he never asked for with resilience, gentleness, and quiet bravery. Though his time with us was far too short, he knew love, safety, and belonging—and that is what mattered most. He will always be missed and forever cherished. |
