Hi! My name's Penny! I'm a sweet little 5 month old that is ready to finally settle into my furever home.I am spayed, age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. I currently weigh approximately 30lbs. No one knows exactly what breed I am but I've heard lots of guesses including Husky, Shepherd and even Collie. My foster mom says I'm just all the best things rolled into one fabulous pup! I can be abit timid at first around new dogs especially big ones but after I get to know them we can be the best of friends. Just ask my big foster brother, him and I love to run, wrestle and get into all kinds of shenanigans. As much as I'd like another brother or sister, I also wouldn't mind being the only dog in the house and have all eyes on me. Please no cats though...they're abit weird if you ask me and they kind of scare me. As much as I love to run and play, I'm always down for a snuggle on the couch and you better be ready cause I give the BEST KISSES EVER! I absolutely love kids! I've got two with me currently and we get along great. I have been known to get abit over excited and nippy though so please be patient with me. Speaking of being nippy that reminds me...I mentioned I'm still a puppy right? I love to chew so I would benefit from lots of chew toys and chewy bones. I've been working really hard on my training and I know "sit", "wait", and "take it" pretty well and I'm getting really good at coming when called. My only problem is I am very curious so I've still got some work to do on remembering what I'm supposed to be doing instead of sniffing around and chasing butterflies. (I haven't caught one yet but one day!) I've still got some work to do on my leash training too. I don't pull very hard at all. I just can't help but sniff out all the new things around me. My greatest trick of all though would have to be my "sad puppy dog eyes." Good luck resisting those! I sleep in my crate at night and because I'm such a Curious George I've had to stay in there when I'm home alone. It's not too bad though, my foster mom usually lets me enjoy a yummy chewy and I'm happy as can be. I've also been doing really good on my house training, I haven't had an accident in weeks! I'll usually get up and start sniffing around the back door to tell mom its time for a pee. I'm always down for a nice car ride, especially if its to the dog park. I love running around and making new dog friends but I love meeting new people friends even more. Don't worry I won't get to far though, I always look around and make sure I can see my foster mom incase I need her. All in all I'm just a sweet, gentle soul with all the love in the world to give. I'm ready to meet my furever family that I can finally call my own. I am currently being fostered in Hamilton so please be prepared to come here to meet me!!
