Hi everyone, it's me, Pepper! I am all healed up from my surgery, and doing well. Foster mama says that I am ready to find my forever home.
I am approximately 3 years old, and a male schnoodle, which means I am pretty darn cute, and I have little to no shedding!

I love everybody, and everything! Men, women, kids, other dogs, cats, rabbits. I get along with everybody. I am the boss of all the animals in the house though. My baby foster brother is 90 lbs and big, and he knows who is boss! I sometimes have to remind him though! I need to go to a home that has another furry sibling, dog or cat, because I love to play so much.
I love to go for car rides, love to snuggle, and love to play with toys, and non-toys like socks.

I know I sound pretty great, but there is a lot of care involved with me. I got in a fight with a car a few years ago, and had to have both of my back legs amputated. I get around really well, foster mama calls me a little pogo stick, and I can go real fast! I also have a wheelchair for outside, I love going for walks!

Because of my accident I also have a lot of nerve damage in my back end. I cannot control when I pee (I dribble lots) or poop. So, I wear either diapers or a belly band. I eat a raw diet, it is the best thing for me because of my diaper.

I am the bestest of guard dogs, I let my foster family know when someone is at the door, or walking by, or pulling in the driveway by barking, a lot. I am working on being a little more quiet, but it is really hard. An apartment may not be the best for me because of the noises I would hear, but if the walls are thick then I would be good.

From my foster mama:
“Pepper is the sweetest and spunkiest little guy, he is very special. He has such joie de vivre, and does not let his amputation stand in his way. His eyes just shine with love. He can be rough and tumble when he wants, and then be the biggest cuddle bug. Whoever gets this guy is going to be lucky."
